    Being the second in command isn't about playing second fiddle. It's about mastering the art of leadership and support. Your role is crucial to the success of the team, ensuring that every member has what they need to excel and that the company achieves its goals.1. Effective communication is key to leadership. Really pay attention to that statement. I cannot express strongly enough how important clear communication can be. As we like to say overcommunicate! Regularly update your team on goals, expectations, and any changes within the organization. Encourage conversations, listen to feedback, and ensure that everyone feels heard and valued.2.     The time I understood what makes up a team in an organization willing to achieve one goal then I realized that every team member's opinion matters and that it brings a solution that waits for your input. Working in the supply chain I have experienced both sides of the coin when it involves building a team for organizational goals. The hard part of team building is making team members trust you. This means that trusting you first begins with yourself trusting in your team to bring solutions with minimum supervision.Being a decision-maker in an organization has fueled my understanding of how building a strong team and empowering the team to understand the importance of being able to make a team-focused decision bring more about a collective solution that one person can not handle on his or her own.Empower your team to achieve the best in themselves in the teamwork environment building trust and eagerness to learn from experiences and doing research about the latest industry trends they are working in.
